Artist Karl Philips is interested in the fringes of society, and those who move within. Not just their position, but their often creative pragmatism is what Philips finds fascinating. From the folds that originate in the system, by pulling in those fringes, Philips searches for an overview on and an understanding of society, that he confronts with his installations and performances.
